HOW IT WORKS
Discuss, draw, done
Follow these three easy steps to get screened with a SimpleScreen CRC blood test.

Step 1

Discuss with your doctor

Have a conversation to see whether SimpleScreen CRC is a good fit for you. If your doctor agrees, they can order the test during your visit, either on its own or with other blood tests. 

Step 2

Complete a blood draw

A qualified healthcare professional, like a doctor, nurse, or phlebotomist, will perform your blood draw. No prep, diet, or fasting needed. You can have the procedure done during a regular doctor’s visit, at a lab, or even at home.

Step 3

Lab testing and results

Once your draw is done, your blood sample is sent to the lab for testing. You'll receive your test result in about 2 weeks. Your doctor will reach out to explain what a positive or negative result could mean and what your next steps should be.

SimpleScreen CRC is performed through a standard blood draw. Your doctor or primary care provider will need to order the test for you.

Absolutely nothing. SimpleScreen CRC requires no special diet, no prep, and no downtime.

You can have your blood drawn during a routine checkup at your doctor’s office, at a lab where they perform blood draws, or in the privacy of your home by scheduling a visit from a mobile phlebotomist.

SimpleScreen CRC is covered by Medicare Part B and Medicare Advantage plans. It’s also included as a benefit in some Medicare plans. Out-of-pocket costs can vary depending on your plan, so we recommend checking with your insurance provider first.

If you are not able to have your blood drawn within your clinic or healthcare system, you can have your blood drawn using Exact Sciences-managed services.
