THE COLOGUARD® TEST: BENEFITS
An effective, noninvasive, and safe colon cancer test you can use at home
Colon cancer is not just one of the most preventable cancers,1 it's also one of the most effectively treated if caught early.2 Make screening with Cologuard your first step in finding, treating, and increasing your chances of beating colon cancer.
Screening is the first step to detect colon cancer
The American Cancer Society defines colon cancer as an abnormal growth of cells in the colon or rectum that can invade nearby tissues or spread to other organs.
It starts as a polyp (small growth) that gets larger over time. While not all polyps are cancerous, some do turn into cancer. This is why getting screened is so important.3
The leading noninvasive solution6
Made for individuals 45+ at average risk, the Cologuard test stands out for its ease of use and proven effectiveness. Collect a sample in a few minutes.7

You’ve got questions,
we’ve got answers
The Cologuard test is for adults 45 years of age and older who are at average risk for colon cancer. It is not a replacement for colonoscopy in high-risk individuals.
Unlike other noninvasive options that are used once a year, the American Cancer Society recommends screening again three years after a negative Cologuard test result.8
Cologuard is an effective, simple, and safe colon cancer test you can use at home. Unlike a colonoscopy, it is also noninvasive, and no prep is needed prior to using it. Talk to your health care provider to see what test best suits your needs.
